Basil Corn on the Cob Recipe

Ingredients

* 6 lg. ears sweet corn in husks
* 6 Tbs. butter, softened
* 1/2 tsp. dried basil
* 1/4 tsp. sugar
* dash salt
* dash garlic salt
* 1 C. fresh basil leaves
* lime wedges

Directions

Carefully peel back corn husks to within 1 inch of bottoms; remove silk. In a small bowl, combine the butter, dried basil, sugar, salt and garlic; spread over corn. Place basil leaves over butter mixture. Rewrap corn in husks and secure with kitchen string. Place in a stockpot; cover with cold water. Soak for 20 minutes; drain. Grill corn in husks, covered, over medium heat for 25-30 minutes or until tender, turning often. Serve with lime wedges.

Chimichurri Grill Recipe

Chimichurri sauce will add some bold flavor to your grilled meats!

Ingredients

* 4 steaks (rib-eye or tenderloin)
* 4 sausages
* 2 Tbs. steak seasoning
* 1/4 C. soy sauce
* 1/2 C. olive oil
* chimichurri sauce

Directions

Combine steak seasoning, soy sauce, and olive oil into a bowl or Ziploc bag.  Add steaks and marinate for at least 30 minutes.  Grill steaks and sausage to desired doneness.  Top with spoonfulls of chimichurri sauce.

* 2 tsp. garlic powder

* 2 tsp. mustard powder
* 2 tsp. chili powder
* 2 tsp. ground cumin
* 2 tsp. white sugar
* 2 tsp. paprika
* 1/2 tsp. dried oregano

Directions

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well and apply to meat. Stores well in airtight containers. Good on ribs, pork chops, etc.

Roadhouse Steaks with Ancho Chile Rub Recipe

Ancho chile powder is made from ground, smoked, dried poblano peppers, and it gives this rub a subtle smoky heat. For a milder flavor, cut back on the ground black pepper or ancho chile powder, and omit the ground red pepper.

Ingredients

1 Tbs. freshly ground black pepper
2 tsp. ancho chile powder
4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 4-oz. beef tenderloin steaks, trimmed
cooking spray

Directions

Prepare grill. Combine first 8 ingredients in a small bowl. Rub spice mixture evenly over steaks; let stand 10 minutes. Place steaks on a grill rack coated with cooking spray. Grill 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
