All-American Hamburgers Recipe

Ingredients

* 2 Tbs. finely chopped onion
* 2 Tbs. ketchup
* 1 garlic clove, minced
* 1 tsp. sugar
* 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
* 1 tsp. steak sauce
* 1/4 tsp. cider vinegar
* 1 lb. ground beef
* 4 slices process American cheese
* 4 hamburger buns, split
* 8 cooked bacon strips

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into four patties. Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 inches from the heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees and juices run clear. Top with cheese. Grill 1 minute longer or until cheese is melted. Serve on buns with bacon and toppings of your choice.

Ingredients

* 1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
* 1 Tbs. plus 1 tsp. olive oil, divided
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* 2 C. fresh arugula or baby spinach
* 4 pita breads (6 in.)
* 8 oz. fresh mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
* 2 plum tomatoes, cut into 1/4-in. slices
* 1/4 C. sliced ripe olives
* 2 Tbs. capers, drained

Directions

In a small skillet, saute onion in 1 Tbs. oil until tender. Add garlic; saute 1 minute longer. Remove and keep warm. In the same pan, cook arugula just until wilted; remove and keep warm.

Ingredients

* 2 C. chopped plum tomatoes
* 1/2 C. minced fresh basil
* 1/3 C. finely chopped red onion
* 3/4 C. Italian salad dressing, divided
* 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 oz. each)
* 4 slices Italian bread (1 in. thick), toasted
* 4 slices part-skim mozzarella cheese

Directions

In a small bowl, combine the tomatoes, basil, onion and 1/2 cup dressing; set aside. Flatten chicken to 1/4-inch thickness.

Grill chicken, covered, over medium heat for 3-5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear, basting occasionally with remaining dressing. Layer each slice of toast with a chicken breast, cheese slice and tomato mixture.

Ingredients

* lg. jalapeno peppers
* 8-oz. fat free cream cheese
* 1 lb. hot or sage rolled sausage, can use half of each
* 1 C. white cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese
* 1/2 C. Parmesan cheese
* 2 Tbs. garlic powder
* 2 Tbs. onion powder
* 1 tsp. season salt
* 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Directions

Cut peppers in half. Start off by seeding and deveining your peppers. Boil them for 5 minutes. Cream the sausage, all your cheeses, garlic powder, onion powder, season salt and pepper together. Make sure you do not cook the sausage.

* 3 lg. ears corn, husks and silks removed
* 4 (8- to 10-inch) low-fat flour tortillas
* 1 C. reduced-fat Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
* 1/2 C. salsa
* 2 green onions, trimmed and thinly sliced
* 1 head romaine lettuce, thinly sliced
* 1 Tbs. olive oil
* 1 Tbs. cider vinegar
* 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
* 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

Prepare grill. Place corn on hot grill rack over medium-high heat. Cover grill and cook corn, turning frequently, until brown in spots, 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer corn to plate; set aside until cool enough to handle. With sharp knife, cut kernels from cobs.

Barbecue Chicken Breasts Recipe

Ingredients

    * 6 chicken breasts
    * 1 bottle barbeque sauce
    * 6 slices cheese (jalapeño/American or Swiss)
    * 6 slices maple bacon
    * toothpicks for securing

Directions

Pound 6 chicken breasts. Place one slice of cheese on top of each. Roll up the breast and wrap a piece of bacon around the breast. Secure with a toothpick. Place barbeque sauce in a flat bowl and drench the breast with sauce. Place in casserole dish in the refrigerator for a few hours. Remove from casserole and put on grill for about 20-30 minutes depending on the thickness of the chicken breast. Note: If you’re having a cookout, marinate the breasts in the early morning.

Ingredients

* 1 lb. ground beef
* 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell’s® Condensed Tomato Soup (Regular or Healthy Request®)
* 1/2 tsp. Louisiana-style hot sauce
* 1/2 C. crumbled blue cheese or 4 slices blue cheese
* 4 Pepperidge Farm® Classic Hamburger Buns, split
* Lettuce leaves, red onion slices, tomato slices (optional)

Directions

Shape the beef into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) burgers. Lightly oil the grill rack and heat the grill to medium.

Grill the burgers for 10 minutes for medium or to desired doneness, turning the burgers over once halfway through grilling.

* 1 jar (16 oz.) Pace® Chunky Salsa
* 1 C. diced cooked chicken
* 4 med. green onions, chopped (about 1/2 C.)
* vegetable oil
* 1 container (8 oz.) sour cream

Directions

Top each of 4 tortillas with 1/2 C. cheese, 1/4 C. salsa, 1/4 C. chicken and 2 Tbs. green onions. Brush the edges of the tortillas with water. Top with the remaining tortillas and press the edges to seal.

Grilled Ribeye with Blue Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

1/3 C. red wine vinegar
1/3 C. water
2 Tbs. soy sauce
1 med. sweet onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
2 12 oz. Ribeye steaks
1/4 C. blue cheese, crumbled

Directions

Combine first six ingredients in a zip lock style bag. Add the steaks and marinate covered in refrigerator, for two hours. Grill steak on one side for 5 - 7 minutes. Turn and top carefully with crumbled blue cheese. Cover and grill another 5 - 7 minutes or until it’s cooked to your liking. Times will vary depending on the heat of your grill.
