Ingredients

* Burgers:
* 2 lb. lean ground beef
* 1 tsp. granulated garlic
* 1 tsp. salt
* 1/2 tsp. pepper

* Bruschetta:
* 1 C. sliced grape or cherry tomatoes
* 2 Tbs. fresh basil, cut into ribbons
* 1 Tbs. olive oil
* 1 tsp. salt
* 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
* 1/2 C. mozzarella cheese, grated
* 8 hamburger buns
* 1 garlic clove, cut in half
* 1/4 C. butter, softened

Directions

Divide ground beef into 8 patties and season with granulated garlic, salt and pepper. While grill is heating, combine sliced tomatoes, basil (cut into ribbons by stacking basil leaves, rolling long wise and cutting crosswise), olive oil, salt and fresh ground pepper, set aside.

Grill burger patties until cooked through. While burgers are still on the grill, sprinkle each with about one tablespoon of mozzarella and top with 2 tablespoons of tomato mixture. Leave on grill just long enough for cheese to melt.

Cut garlic clove in half and rub both sides of all buns. Spread each bun lightly with butter and toast lightly. Assemble burgers adding mayo or any favorite condiment. Enjoy!
